Very high trans fats. Not…

I was very excited to try Gordon Ramsay's take on a frozen shepherd pie that I could purchase at walmart. I ordered the product online and although I looked at the ingredients I did not read the nutrition label which was a huge mistake. I was delighted to see that there were no artificial flavors colors or sweeteners which is why this product does get at least one star. However once I got home and opened up the box and prepared it in the microwave I read the nutrition label and almost gasped at the amount of saturated fat and trans fat in just one serving. I couldn't believe it! One serving contained 84% of the RDI for saturated fat. Which is already set far too high for most adults. The shepherd pie only took about 5 minutes to fully cook and when I peeled back the film it did not have the typical aromatic and savory smell that I come to associate with my mother's shepherd's pie which would always be chock-full of vegetables. I was so disappointed to see that this was primarily mashed potatoes with greasy cheese and literally a layer of Grease surrounding the dish. I also could not see any peas so I had to dig for them. In total I dug out 11 peas and three small 1 cm cubes of carrots. The flavor was incredibly bland and the meat did not taste very good quality. Overall this was so disappointing after three bites I put the rest in the trash. It was a waste of money and so many things could have been done to make this a wholesome nutritional Shepherd's pie. So much of the butter and cheese and grease could have been eliminated and more savory spices and vegetables should be incorporated. Also better quality meat should be used. Shepherd's pie is typically known as a wholesome Hardy meal that is relatively healthy. This one unfortunately was not a healthy choice and a big disappointment.
I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion.
